I'm seriously considering purchase of the DS708 scanner. My first job that needs the tool is being able to read live transmission data out of a 2005 Subaru Outback.

Has anyone done this or knows if it will read it? Apparently it is confirmed it will if its a CAN system, which i do not believe this car is, but I've heard there are exceptions...
